Crawl West Pub Crawl


A Western Themed pub crawl around Old Town Alexandria!

Proceeds will be donated to the National Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial in the name of
our 19 brothers from Prescott, Arizona Hot Shots crew who paid the ultimate price on June 30th, 2013.
The event begins at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Chadwicks –
203 Strand Street in Old Town Alexandria.

A $20 donation per person will be collected at the door. **MUST BE 21 TO ATTEND**

Prizes for best cowboy, best cowgirl, best steed, and best mustache!

So, WEAR YOUR LIDS and join your Northern Virginia Chapter of Fools International as we honor our fallen brothers with bagpipes, fun, and the usual FOOLishness!

The show's special guest is Deputy Chief (Ret.) Curt Varone from Providence (RI) Fire Department. He is a practicing attorney, licensed in Rhode Island and Maine. He has written Legal Considerations for Fire and Emergency Services and Fire Officer's Legal Handbook and is a member of the Fire Engineering Fire Service Court.

Eric Hankins is Vice President of FOOLS International, while Rob Fisher is an executive board member. Eric works as a Capt. with Yuba City Fire and Rob is a Lt. with Snohomish County Fire District #7.

Instructors Needed For Upcoming Training in May!

Our chapter will be hosting a "Firefighter Skills for Single Family Dwellings" hands-on training event on May 18, 2013 at the Loudoun Fire Training Academy. We still need some members to assist with conducting this class. We are still in need of a few more adjunct instructors (must be NFPA Instructor I minimum). If you are available to help out (instructor or not) on this date please contact me as soon as you can.
